scriptFinder
Developer: Jim Bauer
Description of Module
This module allows one to enter a keyboard help style interface – when keys attached to scripts are pressed, the name, description and synopsis of the script attached to the key combination is spoken.
A double-press of such a key will start a search for the script attached to that key.
The script file for the currently active application is searched first, followed by any scripts used by that application, and, lastly, default.jss and the scripts it uses.
If the script is found, the script manager is activated with the correct file loaded, and the pc cursor is placed on the line on which the script begins.
The Files:
- scriptfinder.jsl - This is the actual module.
- sfSearch.wav - The sound played by this system while a search is in progress.
This file can be created by renaming a copy of msn_switching.wav (found in jaws\settings\language) to sfSearch, retaining the extension.
Enjoy as always.
