= Welcome to Jaws Scripts =
This is a community of people who create and share scripts written for the [http://www.freedomscientific.com/fs_products/JAWS_HQ.asp Jaws For Windows] (JFW) screen reader from [http://www.freedomscientific.com Freedom Scientific]. 
The scripts are free to download and use. Any script available here is licenced under an [wiki:license MIT style license] unless there is an individual license within it's folder.

== Available Scripts ==
The first scripts in are:
 * [wiki:Case Case], a string match and replace script.
 * [wiki:scriptFinder scriptFinder], Allows one to jump to the source of the script attached to the key that is pressed.
 * [wiki:MAudio M-Audio]
 * [wiki:Tc4Conference TC4 Conference]
If you've never used Jaws scripts before, find out [wiki:HowToUseScripts how to use Jaws scripts].
If you find a problem with a script, you can [http://alastairc.ac/jaws-scripts/newticket submit a ticket], and a developer will (if you are polite and forthcoming) look into the issue and try and fix it. It is best to search for previous ones first though, someone else might have found the same thing.
== Adding or Contributing Scripts ==
If you want to contribute to the Jaws Scripts repository, you will need to:
 * Request an [mailto:scripts@alastairc.ac account].
 * Know [wiki:WritingScripts how to write Jaws scripts].
 * Know [wiki:UsingSvn How to use SVN].
You can then check the [http://alastairc.ac/jaws-scripts/browser/ Project Browser] for available scripts, edit them, and submit them back to create an update.
If you'd like to develop a new script, [mailto:scripts@alastairc.ac request a new project] and a new 'script project' will be set up for anyone to try, and hopefully contribute to.
