Interestingly, Steve Jobs's <a href="http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughtsonmusic/" rel="nofollow">essay on music DRM</a> apparently sets up the opposite stance, but note the complete lack of reference to movies. Combining their stance on DRM with their capitulation to Adobe (removing native PDF export), MS really doesn’t seem to be living up to their monopolistic standing?
