I&#039;m slightly embarrassed looking back at my comment from 2003, thinking that it might be easy to replicate another browser&#039;s bugs!

In truth I don&#039;t think there is a future proof method. Before IE7, I thought that MS would fix the bugs at the same time as the hacks. But it wasn&#039;t quite that easy, the bugs &amp; hacks didn&#039;t quite cancel out.

Conditional comments became necessary, I&#039;d just like to move them out of the HTML.</description>
